Fabrice and Corinne, a love story at Château Fontvert
Corinne & Fabrice
Fabrice is one of the owners of the estate. In the 1950s, the vineyard belonged to his grandfather. Today, Fabrice has taken over the reins with his mother and brothers. As you can see, it’s a family business. It is also a business that has been running for more than 20 years thanks to the whole team of the winery. According to the owner, “the success of Fontvert is thanks to our great team”.
But Fabrice hasn’t always been around to look after the vines. After a career in the audiovisual industry and a life in Paris, New York and China, Fabrice decided to return to the land of his roots: Lourmarin. Since 2014, he has never left his native Luberon. Château Fontvert is his “haven of peace”, as he likes to call it.
Corinne is American. She lived in a small village on the shores of Lake Michigan, near Chicago. In 2018, she decided to come and spend a holiday in Provence and more precisely in the Luberon. A photographer by profession, she wanted to do a photo report on the grape harvest. She knocked on the door of Château Fontvert by chance and succeeded in participating in the last days of the harvest with the whole team of the vineyard during a short week. She met Fabrice during her experience at Château Fontvert. It was love at first sight and she never left Lourmarin.
The couple were married in 2021, in the vineyard where they fell in love. It is with passion that the couple will share with you all the secrets of Château Fontvert during the Terroir Tour. A unique experience to live!
